Keren Lowell held several positions with the Alaska Council on the Arts over a span of eight years. She and her colleagues lost their jobs in 2019 when Gov. Mike Dunleavy vetoed the council’s funding.

The Dunleavy administration is no longer seeking private vendors to replace six state-run Division of Motor Vehicles offices. 

The Dunleavy administration has proposed making it legal to drive all-terrain vehicles and snow machines on roads with speed limits of 45 mph or less.

Supporters say the bill would allow health care providers to continue to offer alternate sites for screening and testing and continue to use telemedicine during the pandemic.
