Community Advisory Board

Audio MixerOur stations are required by the Communications Act to establish a Community Advisory Board (CAB). The CAB provides input on our programming, community engagement and fund development activities. The CCBI CAB has a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 30 members, named by the Board of Directors to one year terms, starting on September 1st and ending on August 30.

The CCBI CAB meets three times per year.  On the 3rd Thursday in January we discuss TV topics, including Gavel to Gavel and 360 North.  On the 3rd Thursday in April the committee considers news topics.  And on the 3rd Thursday in September we talk about radio topics, including programming and music.  Meetings take place at 12:00 noon at the KTOO building.
