Police also said they no longer need help finding Katherine Milton and Rafael Flores. Detectives met with them Saturday morning and released them.

Juneau woman shot in head, medevaced to Anchorage
A 19-year-old Juneau woman has been medevaced to Anchorage after being shot in the head. Authorities haven’t named the woman, who was in a townhouse on Amalga Street in the Mendenhall Valley.

Police investigate submerged body found in Juneau pond
Juneau police are investigating the death of a male subject who was found Thursday morning partially submerged in a pond. According to a JPD news release, a caller saw the body while walking on the bike path, and walked to Fred Meyer to call police.
