The Alaska Marine Highway System’s newest vessel and the first fast ferry in the fleet, the M/V Fairweather, was christened over the weekend in a Bridgeport, Connecticut shipyard. Shipyard workers hope it’s only the first in series of projects to help revitalize thier community.
