Scenic Byways

The state’s ferry routes through the Inside Passage, in Prince William Sound, and out the Aleutian Chain have already been labeled as an Alaska Scenic Byway by state transportation officials. National recognition could be next. Alaska Marine Highway System General Manager George Capacci explains what that means during an interview on the bridge of the state ferry Malaspina.
