Police say they’re looking for a Juneau woman who walked out of Bartlett Regional Hospital on Friday.

Chrystal Rose Phillips, 28, was arrested early Thursday afternoon on an outstanding warrant for promoting contraband. She told an officer that she swallowed drugs during her arrest and felt sick. The officer immediately took her to Bartlett after observing behavior that was consistent with a medical crisis.

Police say Phillips was held overnight in the critical care unit. She was not medically cleared to be moved to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Phillips was supervised during her hospital stay by police and probation officers.

Late Friday evening, minutes after a supervising officer left to respond to a domestic violence case, Phillips apparently walked out of the hospital.

Anyone with any information about Phillips’ location is asked to call the Juneau Police Department at 586-0600.

Brandon Ross Stephens, 32, was also arrested with Phillips. He had seven outstanding warrants for larceny, failing to appear in court, and violating conditions of release.
