Sophie Mae Babcock was born at 2:55 p.m., New Year’s Day. Her mother is nurse Angela Babcock, and her father is Danny Babcock, a firefighter for Capital City Fire and Rescue.
Sophie Mae weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 20 inches long.The second baby of the new year was born at 8:36 p.m. to Deena and Daniel Hand. Raymond Glen Hand came into the world at 8 pounds, 14 ounces and 21 inches.
