- Theatre in the Rough’s “The Revolutionists” opens Friday, September 18 and runs through October 11. This comedic play is set in 1793 Paris, where playwright Olympe de Gouges joins assassin Charlotte Corday, deposed queen Marie Antoinette, and Caribbean freedom fighter Marianne Angelle in a witty, anachronistic struggle to make art, pursue justice, and survive the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror.

- Juneau Commission on Aging highlights Capital AKcess and upcoming events with AARP.
- The University of Alaska Evening at Egan fall lecture series kicks off with “Learning and Teaching the Language of the Land: Insights from Alaskan Teachers,” with Southeast Alaska educators Chelsee Cook, Amber Frommherz, Lorrie Gax̱.áan.sán Heagy, Naomi Hana’ackm Ggoadm ‘Tsoal Leask, Koolyéik Roby Littlefield, and Koogak’aax Angie Lunda. The lecture will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Egan Lecture Hall, Egan 112, and via Zoom. It will be recorded for later viewing on the UAS YouTube channel.
