- “Bridging Our Stories” is a documentary film that follows the story of when Ketchikan’s last Filipino community center closes and a Filipina who has spent her life resisting her heritage travels to the Philippines to rediscover her roots through indigenous dance. It will play the Goldtown on Saturday, September 19 at 1PM.
- The Foundation for End of Life Care presents “Lean into Grief: Becoming Resilient in the Face of Loss” by Dr. Lani Leary on Monday, September 21 at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center. Reception at 5:30 p.m. and the talk will begin at 6:00 p.m.
- Here and Now’s Peter O’Dowd will be broadcasting from the KTOO studios next week. He shares a preview of the stories he will share while here in Juneau.
- Fat Bear Week begins next week. Na Mee will once again be posting daily on KTOO about the bracket competition and her picks and history of the bears involved.
