Andy got a chance to interview Brian Wallace during an Excellent Afternoon on July 25th. Brian just made a large donation to the Sealaska Heritage Institute of many of his father’s drawings of totems, photographs, and many other historically significant works from his father’s home and workshop. March Flies Swarm Juneau

The flies that seem to be everywhere in Juneau these past 3 weeks are March Flies (Family Bibionidae, Genus Bibio), according to Biologist John Hudson of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Habitat Restoration division.
