Community Connection: Mark Stopha

Community Connection is a segment on KTOO’s Juneau Afternoon where listeners share personal stories, reflections, poetry or music about life in these strange times.

Mark Stopha picks berries, fiddleheads, nettles and devils club buds between episodes of canning fish he caught with Leon on the Taku River in July, hunting ducks on the Stikine River with Brian and Ellen in October, serving as full-time arm candy to Sara from January to April, and spying hooters in the trees on Admiralty Island in May. His advice to garage sale addicts: “admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.”
