Lower Kuskokwim schools reduces turnover, improves education with local teaching scholarships
The Lower Kuskokwim School District has about a 15 percent turnover rate. Every year, it’s looking to fill 60 to 70 teaching positions. To do that last year, the district attended 93 job fairs across the United States.
Bethel opens housing to retain city workers
