The requirement for most people to wear masks indoors for the duration of travel, including boarding and disembarking the vessel, is still in place.

Alaska’s chief medical officer gave several reasons on Wednesday for why Alaskans should wear masks when they can’t stay six feet away from others. But she didn’t say that they have to do it.  Some Alaska lawmakers said they want to know why the state hasn’t announced more changes in response to the recent rise…

So far Dunleavy hasn’t changed his mind. He said he would wear a mask if he’s with seniors or people with underlying health conditions, but won’t speak through a mask if invited to speak to a get-together.
