This is the second time the organizers of the campaign to recall Governor Dunleavy have had to gather signatures. The first time was in August, for the recall application.
The transition team said Alaskans can expect a combination of formal events and less formal, family-centered events across the state in December.
Most Alaskans who offered public testimony Wednesday on a proposed overhaul of the state’s oil and gas taxes and tax credits opposed the measure. House Bill 111 would also increase minimum production taxes.
