The Fourth Statewide Alaska Music Summit gathers in in Juneau for the first time this weekend, plus conversations with Juneau City Museum, Juneau Dance Theatre, and the Juneau Audubon Society.

A new exhibit opening at the UAS Egan Library shines a spotlight on the acts of resistance that helped bring the war on Viet Nam to an end.

The form was intended to get a better sense of resident attitudes and concerns about getting the shot.

The idea of the show happened out of conversations with friends and colleagues who were angry that stories about gender-based violence weren’t being heard, said director Allison Holtkamp.
