Southeast Alaska’s Tlingit culture doesn’t stop at the Canadian border. An Inland Tlingit group from up the Taku River has strong connections to Alaska.
Celebration brings together tribal citizens from across Southeast every other year. It’s a sensory experience and two contests in particular were made for the tastebuds.
Celebration’s first Native Fashion Show was standing room only.
