2023 League of Women Voters Candidate Forums
Hear from candidates for Juneau Assembly and Juneau School Board in forums hosted by The League of Women Voters of Juneau, KTOO, KINY and the Juneau Empire on Sept. 12 and 13.
Key dates
- Sept. 1 – Last day to register to vote in Juneau’s municipal election
- Sept. 12 – Ballots mailed from Washington state to all qualified registered Juneau voters
- Sept. 13 – Secure ballot drop box locations become available (Auke Bay-Statter Harbor boat launch parking lot or Douglas Public Library)
- Sept. 16 – Vote centers open for early and in-person absentee voting
- Sept. 24 – Last day to receive applications for ballot to be mailed to a temporary absentee address
- Oct. 1 – Election day; mailed ballots must be returned and postmarked by this day. Ballots can be returned at Juneau vote centers. Secure ballot drop boxes and vote centers are open until 8:00 p.m. Preliminary unofficial results posted
- Oct. 15 – Official election results certified
