Juneau police arrest burglar who tidied up victim’s home

Juneau police have arrested a suspect in an unusual burglary in the Mendenhall Valley. The burglar, police say, apparently tidied up the victim’s home.

Police say the suspect in Wednesday’s burglary on the 4000 block of Taku Boulevard apparently coiled a hose in the yard and swept the front porch in the course of taking several low value items.

Police arrested 31-year-old Reyna Marie Regalado in the case. She’s being held Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The Public Defender Agency is representing her. She’s facing charges of misdemeanor theft and felony burglary.
