Juneau Police say they have found one of two people who may have left the scene of a shooting in downtown Wednesday morning.

25 year old Sky Linn Stubblefield was arrested Thursday morning at a residence at the 3900 block of North Douglas Highway. Officers say they acted on a tip received from the public.
Stubblefield was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries she allegedly received when she fled Wednesday morning.

She was later charged with felony aiding and abetting misconduct involving weapons, felony failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer, contempt of court for failing to report to jail on a previous case, and a bench warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation. Stubblefield was held on no bail.

Juneau police says they’re still looking for 47 year old Jose Antonio Delgado in connection with the shooting.

The investigation is continuing.

Original story Feb. 24, 2016

Juneau police are looking for two persons of interest after a shot was fired at a downtown house early Wednesday morning.

Lt. David Campbell said the two people may have been involved in a property dispute near Harris Street and 4th Street downtown. A single gunshot was fired from a gray car as it left the scene about 1 a.m.

“It’s my understanding that no property was taken,” Campbell said. “It was a dispute over property between somebody that was in the house and the people who left in the car.”

Campbell declined to specify the type of property.

No one was hurt, but the bullet penetrated the front window of the house, destroyed a lamp, and then was lodged in a wall.

A police officer, walking in the area while responding to another call, heard the gunshot and was passed by the gray car. The vehicle was observed going the wrong way up Seward Street and a second officer in a vehicle attempted a traffic stop. About a minute later, the gray car was found abandoned near Main Street and 5th Street.

A firearm was later found in the vicinity of the gray car, but Campbell said they’re not sure yet if it is connected to the shooting.

Police are looking for Jose Antonio Delgado, 47 and Sky Linn Stubblefield, 25.

Delgado is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 200 pounds, and with a shaved head and brown eyes.

Stubblefield is described as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, about 130 pounds, and with light brown hair and hazel eyes.

Campbell warns that Delgado and Stubblefield could be armed and no one should try to contact them directly. Instead, he recommends that people immediately call the Juneau Police Department at 586-0600.
