Minnesota fugitive arrested at Juneau airport

Taylor James Pass, 24, was arrested Tuesday evening in the front part of the terminal lobby at Juneau International Airport.

Juneau Police Officer Sterling Salisbury said Pass was accompanied by a 26-year-old woman and was sitting on a bench when he and two other officers made the arrest.

Pass is wanted on an alleged probation violation following a conviction for first- and second-degree murder and second-degree assault in Minnesota.

Pass was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center pending proceedings on an extradition request from Minnesota authorities.
