Southeast candidates differ on road construction

Candidates running for the District 5 House seat in the Alaska Legislature have differing views on the future of the region’s transportation system. The district is made up of small cities and towns from Cordova to Metlakatla, including Craig, Point Baker, Port Protection, Kake, Angoon, Tenakee, Yakutat, Hoonah and Gustavus. As part of a series of reports previewing the August 24th primary, Ed Schoenfeld spoke to the seven candidates in the race and prepared this report.
