Killer whale acoustic research underway

An Austrian acoustician and his team are monitoring killer whale calls in Southeast waters this summer. It’s part of a study to determine the most efficient way of tracking the whales. It may also help them learn more about an elusive group of whales that feed on other marine mammals. Anne Sutton has the story.
