Fairweather Delivery Cruise

Although the high-speed craft Fairweather does not have accommodations for overnight voyages, the vessel was home to twenty men for three weeks as they worked and piloted the ship from its Connecticut shipyard to Alaska. After the State of Alaska takes ownership of the Fairweather, the 235-foot aluminum catamaran will become the first fast vehicle ferry to serve Southeast Alaska.
