KTOO seeks qualified people to join our News & Public Affairs team, working seasonally during the upcoming 2015 Legislative session. The crew will work together to produce daily live television and web coverage of the Alaska Legislature and other programming on the statewide 360 North public affairs channel.
Applicants should be available for full-time or part-time work from January 1st to April 30th 2014. These positions may require evening and weekend availability and overtime hours from time to time.
Gavel to Gavel Control Room Assistants: Operate broadcast control room equipment during Gavel to Gavel broadcasts. Create on-screen titles and graphics. $14.62 to $20.56 per hour.
Gavel to Gavel Production Assistants: Operate studio and field cameras, mix audio in field and studio productions, carry, move and set up equipment for live and recorded coverage. Work in the Alaska State Capitol and other locations as assigned. $14.62 to $20.56 per hour.
