Video Copies of Gavel to Gavel Alaska Coverage

As a service to our viewers, many Gavel to Gavel Alaska programs can be purchased on DVD. Copies are subject to availability. Not all legislative meetings are recorded, and KTOO normally retains the video recordings for only two weeks. Programs of "taped events" may not be available until after it is broadcast.

Video copiers are available only for personal, non-commercial use. Duplication or rebroadcast is prohibited. Copies are licensed and may not be used for commercial or political purposes.

Normally, orders can be filled within one week; however, due to a high volume of requests of some programs, we cannot guarantee a one week completion date.

Pricing:
Unless otherwise noted, Gavel to Gavel Alaska programs cost $40 for the first hour, or portion thereof, and $20 for each additional hour, or portion thereof. (Each meeting or event constitutes a program.)

Alaska Supreme Court Oral Arguments are available for $40 each.

Discounts:
Orders for four copies or more of the same program can receive a 10% discount; orders for ten copies or more of the same program can receive a 25% discount. (Discount does not apply to Alaska Week.) To receive the discount, multiple copies must be ordered at the same time for delivery to a single address and paid by credit card when ordered. The discount only applies to the multiple copy portion of the order.

Teachers can receive a discount for "in-school use." Orders must be placed by phone and can only be mailed to a school address. Call for more information.

Billing:
KTOO will only bill schools, libraries, state agencies and Legislative offices. Otherwise, payment in full will be due when the tape is picked up at the KTOO studios, 360 Egan Drive, Juneau. For orders requiring shipping or mailing, payment must be made when the order is placed; a shipping/handling fee also applies.

Orders should specify the name of the program or meeting, the exact date and time of the broadcast, committee meeting or floor session, and, if applicable, the speaker(s) and topic(s).
