Juneau Votes, KTOO and the Juneau Empire hosted a debate between the local candidates for Alaska House districts 33 and 34 last week at the University of Alaska Southeast.
The debate focused on incumbent Republican Rep. Cathy Muñoz and Democratic challenger Justin Parish. Uncontested incumbent Democrat Sam Kito III also had opportunities to weigh in. KTOO’s Matt Miller and the Empire’s James Brooks moderated the debate.
KTOO is also broadcasting the debate at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Election day is Nov. 8.
