ANCHORAGE — Two armed men robbed a bank Thursday morning on Anchorage’s east side, according to the FBI.
One man was armed with a shotgun and the other with a handgun.
The men at 10:14 a.m. entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 630 E. Fifth Avenue and demanded money.
They carried off cash in a duffel bag with purple straps and left on foot.
Witnesses say both were African-American and both wore sunglasses.
One wore a red sweat shirt. The other wore a gray sweat shirt and red shoes.
