Juneau police say they arrested a second suspect wanted in connection for a string of local burglaries.

Police say they picked up Charles Smith Carroll, 26, at a business today on Airport Boulevard.

Carroll is being charged with second degree burglary and second degree theft. Both charges are felonies, each carrying a maximum sentence of five years.

Carroll is being held at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

The police thanked and credited “the numerous citizens” who called with leads that ultimately led to the arrest.
