Be sure to tune in to Mind Over Matter this coming Monday at 7pm on KTOO when Dr. Elaine Schroeder will interview prominent Asian scholar and human rights activist, Sulak Sivaraksa who is in town to  speak at UAS and to the Juneau World Affairs Council.  The focus of Monday’s show will be to examine the principals that guide Sivaraksa’s activism, those of compassion and the interconnectedness of all that lives.   So join Elaine Schroeder and Sulak Sivaraksa this Monday, 7 pm on KTOO for a very meaningful dialogue.

    School board candidate juggles race and Facebook

    The creator of the Facebook page the Juneau Community Collective is running for public office and that created a problem. He had to figure out how to continue moderating political comments on the page without falling into a conflict of interest.
