Snow flurries and future Jr. Olympic skiers expected this weekend

Wes Adkins of the National Weather Service said on KTOO’s Morning Edition that Juneau residents should expect a “last gasp of some moisture” through sunset on Friday. It will likely be breezy and sunny for Juneau this weekend and the pattern is expected to provide for dry conditions next week.

Barbara Lindh of Eaglecrest Ski Area said this weekend’s activities include the NAPA Auto Race series that is a qualifier for the Junior Olympics. Fourteen through 16 year olds from around Alaska are competing in the slalom and giant slalom events.
