An 83-year-old man attempting to park his car crashed into the Mendenhall Valley Post Office Thursday, causing $3,500 damage to the building.
Juneau Police say in a news release that the man’s car sustained $1,000 damage.
The man was evaluated by Capital City Fire and Rescue and driven home, the release says.
The incident happened just after 11:15 a.m.
