Police: Driver cited after 2-vehicle crash

Juneau police say a two-vehicle collision disrupted traffic along a main thoroughfare for about 45 minutes on Friday.

Police, in a news release, say a car driven by 44-year-old Kim Andrews was turning left from Egan Drive to the Glacier Highway access when it was struck by a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Robert Schenker.

Police say none of the vehicles’ occupants suffered significant injuries but both vehicles were totaled.

Police say Andrews was cited for failing to yield when turning left.
