Alaska State Troopers say a black bear was trapped inside a Ketchikan home for a time after sneaking in.
The Anchorage Daily News says the homeowner called troopers just after 7:30 a.m. Saturday to report the bear inside the home.
The homeowner’s name has not been released.
Troopers and wildlife troopers went to the home and found that the adult bear had gotten inside the arctic entryway and had become trapped.
According to troopers, the outside door was left unsecured during the night and the bear was attracted by food in the entry hall.
Troopers were able to get the bear outside.
