Former Juneau Mayor Larry Parker, a fixture during Fourth of July festivities, just passed away. Meanwhile, members of the Alaska Court System recenlty remembered former Supreme Court Justice Jay Rabinowitz with a dedication of a small downtown garden in front of the Dimond Courthouse. Former Superior Court Judge Tom Stewart will be one of the Grand Marshalls during Fourth of July Parade.
- A man suspected in the robbery of a Best Western employee has been arrested. Keith Joseph Nelson Jr., 20, was arrested Wednesday night.
