A unique unit comprised of members of the Alaska Army and Air National Guard was in Juneau last week to demonstrate their capabilities to local officials. The 103rd Civil Support Team based out of Fort Richardson was created to identify potential weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and other hazardous materials during an accident or possible attack.
