Vancouver authors Betty O’Keefe and Ian MacDonald tell the story of Lulu Mae Eads who was the subject of the Robert Service poem ‘The Shooting of Dan McGrew.’ Eads finally decided to leave Dawson City, but she ended up booking passage on the last voyage of the Princess Sophia.
